The Cyber Pathways Academy is the School District of Lancaster’s online school which offers standards-aligned and rigorous courses of study for students in the City of Lancaster and Lancaster Township.

Cyber Pathways Academy is operated by the School District of Lancaster. Enrolled students are active SDoL students, which means they receive the same resources and benefits as students attending brick-and-mortar schools in the district.

It’s cyber school—but with a personal touch.

Cyber Pathways students study online at home, but receive the added benefit of regular in-person meetings with academic advisors at one of the district’s Cyber Hubs to help further their understanding of academic content, offer support through challenging assignments, and provide academic, study skills, and time management strategies. In addition, Cyber Pathways Academy students receive college and career readiness opportunities provided through the school district. Many other cyber schools offer only online interactions or require students to travel to long distances to receive face-to-face interactions.

Follow your own path to a great education

We’ll make sure you have an online education plan that meets your unique needs. Academic advisors, who are PA certified teachers, work closely with families to map out the right path for students. And we’ll review that plan often during a student’s time in the Cyber Pathways Academy to ensure we’re meeting your educational goals. Learning online isn’t for everyone—it takes discipline, personal responsibility and, for younger students especially, parental support.

That’s why Cyber Pathways students have regular check-ins with academic advisors to track programs and provide support. Students can take advantage of in-person tutoring at any of our elementary hubs throughout the city as well as at our main center. They can talk to our dedicated college and career planners and make sure they are on track for life after high school. And students can check in live with online PA certified content area/subject teachers within the online platform.

Independent learning with full support and privileges

As a Cyber Pathways student, you’ll enjoy full access to all activities and services provided to active SDoL students, including extracurricular activities, athletics, clubs, school social events, college and career readiness activities, district grade level field trips, and school-based counseling.

All Cyber Academy students receive a district issued computer, reimbursement for home internet services and access to online course(s) 24/7.
